We collect and use personal data of our users only to the extent necessary to provide a functional website and our content and services. The collection and use is generally carried out only with the user's consent or when a legal basis permits the processing.

3. Website Access and Server Log Files

When you access our website, your browser automatically sends data to our web server, which is temporarily stored in a log file. The following data is collected:

  • IP address of the requesting device
  • Date and time of access
  • Name and URL of the accessed file
  • Website from which access was made (referrer URL)
  • Browser used and, if applicable, the operating system

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the technical provision and security of our website).

Storage period: The data is automatically deleted after a maximum of 7 days.

Hosting

We host our website with the following service providers with whom we have concluded data processing agreements pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR:

  • Hosting management: indas - Internet- und Netzwerkdienstleistungen Frank Rössler, Supperstraße 3, 70565 Stuttgart, Germany
  • Data center: Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestraße 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany (ISO/IEC 27001 certified)

Processing takes place exclusively on servers within Germany or the European Union.

4. Cookies and Consent Management

On our website we use cookies. We distinguish between technically necessary cookies and optional cookies for analysis, marketing, or convenience purposes.

4.1 Technically Necessary Cookies

These cookies are essential for the operation of the website and are used on the basis of our legitimate interest (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Without these cookies, the website cannot function properly.

Session cookie (WordPress): Stores temporary session information. Storage duration: until the end of the browser session.
WP Super Cache: Used for faster delivery of website content. Contains no personal data.
Language selection (Polylang): Stores the selected language (German/English). Storage duration: 12 months.
Real Cookie Banner: Stores your cookie settings. Storage duration: 12 months.

4.2 Optional Cookies (Analysis and Marketing)

For all other cookies, in particular analysis, tracking, and marketing cookies, we obtain your explicit consent before use (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time via the cookie icon on our website.

Currently, we do not use any optional cookies. Should analysis or marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Google Maps, or similar be integrated in the future, they will only be loaded after your active consent.

5. Contact and Inquiry Forms

We provide various ways to contact us on our website:

Inquiry Forms (Spare Part, General Inquiry, Service Case)

When using our inquiry forms (in the hero area of the homepage and in the inquiry popup), the following data is processed:

  • Name, email address, phone number (if provided)
  • Company (optional)
  • Technical details of your inquiry (e.g. robot model, article number, error description)
  • Your message
  • Time of the inquiry

The data is used exclusively for processing your inquiry and any follow-up communication.

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) and Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (responding to your inquiry).

Storage period: The data will be deleted once the purpose of processing no longer applies and no statutory retention obligations (e.g. commercial and tax retention obligations of up to 10 years) require further storage.

Email Contact

If you contact us by email or phone, your information will be stored to process your inquiry and to address any follow-up questions.

Spam Protection (Honeypot Method)

To protect against automated spam inquiries, we use a technical honeypot method. This involves hidden form fields that are not visible to human users. No additional personal data is collected from you.

6. Newsletter

You have the option to subscribe to our newsletter via our website. For registration, we use the so-called double opt-in procedure: After entering your email address, we will send you a confirmation email with a link. Your registration becomes effective only after clicking this link.

Purpose: Sending information about products, spare parts, and service topics.

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR (consent).

Withdrawal: You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time. The withdrawal can be made by email to info@aragon-gmbh.com or via the unsubscribe link in each newsletter. The withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out on the basis of consent before its withdrawal.

Storage period: Your email address will be stored as long as you subscribe to the newsletter. After unsubscribing, the data will be deleted.

7. Web Analytics with Independent Analytics

We use the WordPress plugin Independent Analytics on our website for statistical analysis of visitor access. Independent Analytics is a privacy-friendly analytics tool that does not set cookies and does not transfer data to external servers. All data collected is stored exclusively on our own server.

  • Pages visited
  • Country of origin (approximate geographic location)
  • Device used (desktop/mobile/tablet)
  • Referrer (source page)

No personal data and no full IP addresses are stored. Identification of individual users is not possible.

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in statistical analysis for improving our online offering).

8. Embedded Fonts (Google Fonts Self-Hosted)

For consistent display of fonts, we use the font families Teko and Montserrat. These fonts are hosted locally on our own server (via the OMGF plugin). There is no connection to Google servers. Therefore, no data is transferred to Google when accessing our website.

9. Email Delivery

For sending system emails (e.g. confirmation emails for contact inquiries and newsletter registrations), we use the SMTP server of our hosting provider, which is operated within the European Union. Email content is transmitted encrypted (TLS).

10. Recipients of Data

We only pass on your personal data to the following recipients insofar as this is necessary for the fulfilment of our services, for compliance with legal obligations, or due to legitimate interests:

We have concluded data processing agreements pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR with all data processors. Personal data is not passed on to other third parties, in particular for advertising purposes.

11. SSL Encryption

This website uses SSL encryption (https://) to ensure secure data transfer. All data you transmit to us via this website is protected against unauthorized access by third parties.

12. Data Processing in Third Countries

In general, we process your data exclusively within the European Union. Should data be transferred to service providers in third countries in individual cases, this will only be done in compliance with legal requirements (Art. 44 ff. GDPR), in particular on the basis of an adequacy decision by the EU Commission (e.g. EU-US Data Privacy Framework) or appropriate standard contractual clauses.
