We collect and use personal data of our users only to the extent necessary to provide a functional website and our content and services. The collection and use is generally carried out only with the user's consent or when a legal basis permits the processing.
When you access our website, your browser automatically sends data to our web server, which is temporarily stored in a log file. The following data is collected:
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the technical provision and security of our website).
Storage period: The data is automatically deleted after a maximum of 7 days.
We host our website with the following service providers with whom we have concluded data processing agreements pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR:
Processing takes place exclusively on servers within Germany or the European Union.
On our website we use cookies. We distinguish between technically necessary cookies and optional cookies for analysis, marketing, or convenience purposes.
These cookies are essential for the operation of the website and are used on the basis of our legitimate interest (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Without these cookies, the website cannot function properly.
Session cookie (WordPress): Stores temporary session information. Storage duration: until the end of the browser session.
WP Super Cache: Used for faster delivery of website content. Contains no personal data.
Language selection (Polylang): Stores the selected language (German/English). Storage duration: 12 months.
Real Cookie Banner: Stores your cookie settings. Storage duration: 12 months.
For all other cookies, in particular analysis, tracking, and marketing cookies, we obtain your explicit consent before use (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time via the cookie icon on our website.
Currently, we do not use any optional cookies. Should analysis or marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Google Maps, or similar be integrated in the future, they will only be loaded after your active consent.
You can adjust your cookie settings at any time:
To manage the cookies and similar technologies used (tracking pixels, web beacons, etc.) and the corresponding consents, we use the consent tool "Real Cookie Banner". For details on how Real Cookie Banner works, please visit https://devowl.io/rcb/data-processing/.
The legal bases for the processing of personal data in this context are Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR and Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the management of the cookies and similar technologies used and the corresponding consents.
The provision of personal data is neither contractually required nor necessary for the conclusion of a contract. You are not obliged to provide the personal data. If you do not provide the personal data, we will not be able to manage your consents.
We provide various ways to contact us on our website:
When using our inquiry forms (in the hero area of the homepage and in the inquiry popup), the following data is processed:
The data is used exclusively for processing your inquiry and any follow-up communication.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) and Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (responding to your inquiry).
Storage period: The data will be deleted once the purpose of processing no longer applies and no statutory retention obligations (e.g. commercial and tax retention obligations of up to 10 years) require further storage.
If you contact us by email or phone, your information will be stored to process your inquiry and to address any follow-up questions.
To protect against automated spam inquiries, we use a technical honeypot method. This involves hidden form fields that are not visible to human users. No additional personal data is collected from you.
You have the option to subscribe to our newsletter via our website. For registration, we use the so-called double opt-in procedure: After entering your email address, we will send you a confirmation email with a link. Your registration becomes effective only after clicking this link.
Purpose: Sending information about products, spare parts, and service topics.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR (consent).
Withdrawal: You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time. The withdrawal can be made by email to info@aragon-gmbh.com or via the unsubscribe link in each newsletter. The withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out on the basis of consent before its withdrawal.
Storage period: Your email address will be stored as long as you subscribe to the newsletter. After unsubscribing, the data will be deleted.
We use the WordPress plugin Independent Analytics on our website for statistical analysis of visitor access. Independent Analytics is a privacy-friendly analytics tool that does not set cookies and does not transfer data to external servers. All data collected is stored exclusively on our own server.
No personal data and no full IP addresses are stored. Identification of individual users is not possible.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in statistical analysis for improving our online offering).
For consistent display of fonts, we use the font families Teko and Montserrat. These fonts are hosted locally on our own server (via the OMGF plugin). There is no connection to Google servers. Therefore, no data is transferred to Google when accessing our website.
For sending system emails (e.g. confirmation emails for contact inquiries and newsletter registrations), we use the SMTP server of our hosting provider, which is operated within the European Union. Email content is transmitted encrypted (TLS).
We only pass on your personal data to the following recipients insofar as this is necessary for the fulfilment of our services, for compliance with legal obligations, or due to legitimate interests:
We have concluded data processing agreements pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR with all data processors. Personal data is not passed on to other third parties, in particular for advertising purposes.
This website uses SSL encryption (https://) to ensure secure data transfer. All data you transmit to us via this website is protected against unauthorized access by third parties.
In general, we process your data exclusively within the European Union. Should data be transferred to service providers in third countries in individual cases, this will only be done in compliance with legal requirements (Art. 44 ff. GDPR), in particular on the basis of an adequacy decision by the EU Commission (e.g. EU-US Data Privacy Framework) or appropriate standard contractual clauses.
